These concealed door closers are constructed of 1 in. diameter x 7 in. long barrels and come with polished-brass faceplates. These door closers come equipped with an adjustable snap-action feature that allows for increased exertion during the last 5-degrees of swing to secure a complete closing of the door. Concealed door closers like these are vandal-resistant, unobtrusive and completely hidden from view when door is closed. These tube-type closers are U.L. Listed and they meet Canadian National Standard. They are fire rated to 1/2 hour, and when installed correctly, they open to a maximum of 100 degrees. These heavy-duty door closers are spring-loaded, and they are suitable for use with doors that weigh up to 110 lbs. (50 kg). The mounting plates measure 1-1/4 in. wide, by 2-5/16 in. tall.
